Everyone at the location on Linwood in OKC are super nice and understanding. Especially, the dosing nurse and some of the counselor. Unlike the one in Tulsa I feel like I'm being judge by everyone the counselor there in Tulsa want to look down their noses ae u when the look and acted as if they are in active addiction.

Friendly staff everyone here seems to care and treat everyone with respect to Great place hope you like cherry flavor

Staff is great! They are super nice and helpful! The new place on Hefner is awesome! Super nice, clean building! I would def recommend anyone struggling with addiction to come to the place! Love all the staff and the Doc is great also!!!

Love this place. Methadone has probably saved my life

I did my intake today. The staff was very friendly and made sure that all my questions were answered. The doctor was compassionate and understanding. This is my first time in any kind of substance abuse treatment and/or taking Methadone and the staff made me very comfortable about my decision. Looking forward to my future with this awesome program!

Mission Treatment Center, OKC,OK Staff are above and beyond any other clinic I've been to. If I have general medical questions outside of methadone, I ask the nursing staff and trust their answers. All the staff there treat you as an equal. Everyone is always in a good mood. It's a very COMFORTABLE ENVIORNMENT. The staff truly care about your well being. Methadone is looked down on in the community, In my experience I do better on methadone then without or zubsolv/suboxone. On methadone I'm not engaging in criminal behavior, using needles, in danger of overdosing etc...

It is a life saving program don't pass judgement on something you know anything about.

I was on suboxone for years. Last year i switched to methadone. My cravings leveled out. I havent been this stable in every way. In years! And am working toward a life without opiates period. The nurses are nice. The doctor is very friendly & understanding. Most people dont understand that most addicts are good normal people. Most of the counselors treat every patient with respect.

There are many mixed reviews and thoughts on methadone maintenance but speaking from my experience it has been the best thing to ever happen to me and my family since the beginning of my addiction. My family and I were all skeptics due to all of the horrible myths about it, but I have tried everything to qiot using in my ten year addiction from suboxen and subtext to rehabs. One could say the others didn't work because I wasn't ready but I also believe that the set up of the clinic is what helped me. From my first day there I said I was going to give it my all and do my best to pass all my drug tests and so far in what will be a year.the first of August I have done exactly that. The clinic is as helpful as you want it to be. If you go in wanting to get your life back you will! But you can't just count on the clinic you have to work your steps as well. As far as people abusing it it is my theory those people were never there to get clean just to not be sick when they couldn't get a fix. In short just like AA methadone maintenance will lwork I'd you work it! responding to guns since I can't reply normally but I have no illusions I know I'm still dependant but the fact is, is its no longer self medicated uncontrolled abuse, it's doctor approved and legal prescription but I'm quitting cigarettes right now then I will consider backing down the MG on MdoneS . I was unemployed before they helped me, now I'm employed no longer self medicated over abuse which is dangerous

Sorry to burst your bubble Daniel, but being on methadone is farrrrrrrr from clean. Its like if i were JUST doing Heroin. Because thats what it really is, liquid heroin. You still have that ball & chain & without your methadone you would NOT be okay. I would atleast try suboxone, it doesnt get you effin lit like methadone does. My buddy was on it for years trying to say he was 'clean'. If you're clean you shouldnt naturally be nodding out standing up. But hey, im not perfect either. Soooo far from it. I take 2mg subs until i get to 1mg then im done. Even though its Dr prescribed i still dont consider myself 'clean' because i would then be just lying to myself & actually believing my lie. I hope you one day REALLY do get clean, i understand how it feels to have shackles on your ankles & being opiate dependent. Not dissing Methadone, Not dissing you. Just simply stating.
